Good afternoon happy pride! This year, to celebrate Pride Month, I offered a little tweet-sized queer headcanon each day of characters from various media on twitter and tumblr. Some of them are so close as to be almost canon, others are more fanciful, but all of them make me smile to think upon. Feel free to take them for your own, use them as story or art prompts, whatever you like. Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈

• Peter Parker and Johnny Storm have kissed on the mouth many times. (And fucked. They've definitely also fucked.)
• Jiang Yanli's award-winning sex toy review blog that xie runs with xir husband Luo Qingyang and their girlfriend Jin Zixuan.
• Ace nonbinary Natasha Romanov and her QPP Clint Barton and his wife Laura all (mostly) retiring happily on their farm. Nat takes up weaving and makes gorgeous fabrics and terrible spider jokes.
• Kamala Khan whose bisexual awakening is gonna happen when she sits bolt upright in bed one night and goes, "Wait, that was a CRUSH. I had a CRUSH on Captain Marvel!!!"
• Wen Mao who, in addition to establishing Clan-based cultivation in the MDZS universe, was a gay trans man. (Little-known fact: Quintessence of the Wens contains the earliest recorded "All Cops Are Bastards.")
• Yuuri Katsuki and Phichit Chulanont who never really put a label on it but were definitely "sit in his lap, steal his clothes, fool around sometimes when we're bored" close while roomies in Detroit.
• "Straight boy" Wei Ying who took a while to figure out she was neither and butch lesbian Lan Zhan whose whole world suddenly made perfect sense once she did.
• Peggy Carter carefully doing Bucky Barnes' makeup, painting those pouty lips with her signature red, before she and Steve thoroughly mess it up. (Bucky's never felt so beautiful.)

• Trans man Izzy Hands who would like it if everyone on his ship would just do. their fucking. jobs. (These two things aren't related; he's just a trans dude and also fed up.)
• Asexual Tara Cole who would like to remind you that you don't need to feel sexual attraction to inspire it. 😉
• Merlin and Arthur were in love and ushered in a golden age of magical acceptance and lived to snipe at each other every single day for the rest of their very long lives. (Yes I'm still mad at the BBC.)
• Trans girl Lan Jingyi whose egg finally cracked the day Jin Ling got fed up and asked, "Are you sure I'm the young mistress here?"

• The real love story in the Mission Impossible franchise is between Ethan and Benji. (They can double date with Bond and Q.)
• Wen Yuan announcing at five years old that he and Lan Jingyi will get married... and years later their lovers and datemates and all their whole family, by blood and by choice, are there to witness as they do.
• Shang Qinghua's double take when he first notices Shen Qingqiu's fan sporting a tassel in a very distinctive rainbow pattern and Shen Qingqiu's proud little smile when Shang Qinghua quietly flicks it and tells him, "Good for you, bro."
• The quiet, steadfast, world-changing romance between Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee
• Asexual Nie Huaisang who writes the absolute hottest porn because sexual attraction is just such a weird and fascinating thing to inflict on his blorbos. (Plus the screaming comments fill him with glee.)
